UPDATED FOR NANOWRIMO 2018

National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, is almost upon us. November comes round with increasing speed each year – probably something to do with my increasing age!

Anyway, we have completely updated the “How to Win” book for this year. There is something like 30% more content, and everything has been updated and reviewed. Quite apart from the hints and tips and solid advice from someone who’s won this thing THIRTEEN times now, we have included for 2018 a special word count target programme. This has been designed to keep you ahead of the game, in an easily-motivated style. With us, you’ll avoid the last week panic, and you’ll be sitting pretty with several days to go, and with your winner’s badges proudly displayed. We think this system is a winner.

And if that wasn’t enough, for 2018, we have a print book version, too! For those who, like me, read their sequential fiction electronically, but prefer a ‘real-life’ book in their hands for making notes and skipping around.

New title coming soon! Publication day – end of October 2018!

We’re very excited about this book. Gerald has been wanting to write this for some time. The proof is on its way. A little proofreading, perhaps a little more content, and it’ll be with you.

We can’t wait to share this with you.

Amazon reviewer: I have read a lot of books on writing, very few inspire me, this was a pleasant surprise. There are a lot of really helpful ideas in this book that I will be using for my nano prep. I have read many books from authors who think they can write with humour, in my experience very few can do it successfully. Gerald can, I laughed a lot reading this. A must read for anyone wanting to take on the nano challenge.

SCRIVENER – PURE AND SIMPLE

Many authors try out Scrivener for the first time, and are put off by the huge array of features and capabilities. I know I was. So I developed a way of setting the program up so it made working with it much easier.
If you are one of those who has looked at it and turned away, try this method. It made a huge difference to me.
